WARREN, OHIO, April 9, 2008 – WCI Steel, Inc. has announced an increase in the base price of certain steel products effective immediately on new orders acknowledged for delivery on or after May 31, 2008.
The price changes range from $110 to $130 per ton. The new base prices are as follows:
Hot rolled – low carbon: $50/cwt = $1,000. per ton
Cold rolled – low carbon: $55/cwt = $1,100. per ton
Galvanized: $56/cwt = $1,120. per ton
