Community Involvement
Severstal Warren takes its commitment to giving back to the community very seriously. We have a Community Involvement Committee, a group of union and salaried employees who direct where our corporate giving efforts are directed.
Severstal Warren employees participate annually in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and they read to elementary school students in the Warren City Schools through the Ohio Reads program. We represent one of the largest groups who contribute to the United Way of Trumbull County and hold five blood drives for the Red Cross every year. We also participate in the Giving Trees program, where employees donate gifts and money to local social services agencies for the holidays.
